Season is now coming to an end please kkep fit and do some basketball camps over the summer and come back a better player to us in August. Will give details here of our camp when we get details also watch Basketball Ireland web site. Founded in 1965, Meteors is the oldest and most successful Ladies Basketball Club in Ireland. Firmly rooted in the Sandyford / Balally area of Dublin its members play at local, national and international levels. The Meteor Club runs 13 competitive teams from senior to U-11 in addition to organising a very successful Juniors programme each Sunday. Club training and matches takes place in main sports hall of the Naomh Olaf GAA Centre which is located in the Stillorgan Industrial Park. Meteors thank Fillies Cafe Bar / Club 92 our sponsor partner who are helping us to build on the successes of the past and continue to provide a much needed sports and social development programme for the girls and young women of the Sandyford / Balally area.
Well Done Girls. Under 14's 15's 16's Won their Cups however both the 17's & 18's lost in their Dublin Cup Finals Under 14's and 18's won their Dublin Leagues and U 16's and U12's were runners up.

Congratulations to Ali McGrath, Aoife Whelan and Lauren Flynn who have made the Irish Team team for next years Under 16 European Championships, great news to start the new year. Also Liadin Tobin Aisling Kindle & Caoimhe Blennerhasset from the Under 15's has made the Irish Team for the following year. Alison Cleary, Beth Doyle Kelly and Lizzie McConnell were selected for the Dublin Under 14 team for a tournament in Balcelona in early July.
